So I just went on my first date with God

I’ve known God for a few years now and I love Him, but we’ve never been on a date… So the other night I asked Him to go on a date with me. Instantly I just saw the movie Courageous pop into my head, so that’s it we were gonna watch courageous. And it started off as awkward as any first date would be (which I do admit was all my fault)

It is necessary for us to strive to conquer our little temptations, such as fits of anger, suspicions, jealousies, envy, deceitfulness, vanity, attachments, and evil thoughts. For in this way we shall acquire strength to subdue greater ones.
